



KINDERGARTEN: Shishuvidhya Bhavan Balmadir was started on 13th June 1976 and English medium was added in 2004. Located on the premises of Nilambag Palace, the Balmandir focuses on all-round development of children using the Montessori method of education, which primally focuses on learning by doing. The principal of Gujarati medium is Jyotiben and English medium is Neetaben. Children are engaged and educated here with the help of puzzles, Legos and other playing mechanisms while the playing area comprising of slides, swings and a sand pit gives them space to use up their energy and interact with other children.
Every morning the students are greeted with the warm smiles of their teachers following which, they chant morning prayers in assembly. The students are also given fresh and hot brunch in the school. The institute has various competitions and activities like fancy dress, dance competitions, sports day, fun fair day, which are a good way to acclimatise children before they step into school. These special days are fun and festive!




SHREE NANDKUVARBA KSHATRIYA KANYA VIDHYALAY PRIMARY SECTION (GUJARATI MEDIUM):The institute was established in1951 and the primaryGujarati section is the foundation. Presently led by Bhartiben Dwevedi, the institute currently accommodates 1020 students in the primary section. The institute works towards all round development be it physical, mental, social and cognitive. A medical camp is held here, twice a year to ensure better health care for the students who are in the initial growing stage. Workshops regarding the rules of traffic from the department of R.T.O., diet and nutrition planning by doctors, trekking camp to Malnath and parent teacher meetings on a regular basis are just some of the many commitment students, parents and teachers of the primary section are engaged in.
SHREE NANDKUVARBA KSHATRIYA KANYA VIDHYALAY SECONDARY AND HIGHER SECONDARY SECTION (GUJARATI MEDIUM): The secondary and higher secondary section of the institute developed steadily along with the primary section. The section is a grant aid section with staff appointed by the process of Teachers’ Aptitude Test. The principal of the institute is Dr. Rajeshwariba Gohil. The section currently accommodates 1540 students and encourages students to partake in various activities such as N.S.S., N.C.C. Scouts and Guides, eco clubs, games etc.
SHREE NANDKUVARBA KSHATRIYA KANYA VIDHYALAY (ENGLISH MEDIUM) : Ever since the introduction of the English medium on campus in the year 2004, the classes have only expanded. Initially the classes were taken in the heritage building, ‘Matru Mandir’ but as the strength of the students increased the Trust created a separate structure to successfully facilitate classes and activities. The school runs from the first grade to twelve, offering arts as well as commerce options.
An inclusive computer laboratory, library and hall are some of the many facilities offered to the English medium students. The Principal of the primary section is Zuleikha Merchant while secondary and higher secondary is headed by Kausar Makada.
MAHARANISHREE NANDKUVARBA MAHILA ARTS AND COMMERCE COLLEGE: The college was started on the 4th of June, 2016 and is affiliated withMaharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU). With an aim to impart and empower young girls, the college provides a platform for school students to continue their education in the same premises and incoming students to be in a safe and secure premise.
The college also offers a Masters (M.A and M.com) programme for those looking at adding yet another feather to their cap. The students lead a life of overall development by participating in N.S.S, N.C.C. and youth festival activities. The girls of the college have been successfully representing and winning competitions at various levels.
The principal of the college is also a former student of the school, Dr. Priyankaba Gohil.
